Kind of obvious, but to get better of unlocked weapons you need to play on higer intensity, giving better weapons through missions, and giving higher weapons in the shop.
To unlock weapons, Zodiac Chambers can be found in a couple chapters, all but one being even numbered, and missions.
One to start would be Aurum Orbitats, which can be done pretty easily by clearing ch. 16 using claws. Though you can use any claws, brawler claws can do for a low difficulty run.

Just beat Medusa. And I've found my weapon type with Blade and Cannons as a back up.

@Sony_70 Just do what everyone else said. Fight in Togheter, beat missions on higher intesitenties, fuse weapons, and, if pigs fly and someone (in this case, you) ACTUALLY HAS THE MONEY TO BUY A WEAPON, FUSE WEAPON GEMS AND/OR TURN A WEAPON GEM INTO A WEAPON, then do so. You can also win weapons byy completing Treasure Hunt tasks, but I usally don't get good weapons that way

BTW... anyone beat every level on 9.0 yet?

Been in a boat all day, got burned ! What did I miss?

Level 18 and 24 are the last ones left for me to get all 9.0 done.... those are terrible..... Any tips from anyone who finished them?

I have a weapon with Overall Defense +8 but it's hard to fuse the +8 to a weapon that's actually good.... all I get are Clubs and Orbitars, which I don't really like using personally... except for the Skyscraper Club, which has a decent charged shot if you apply Shot Homing to it...
