Topic: How Often are New games Added?

Just kinda wanted to ask this question of the title subject because I've noticed within the last few months every time I've gone under Recent Arrivals, the same section i usually/always do, it seems like the new games list is shortened to a few games, and I can't seem to find anything showing I might've accidentally messed up any settings. So, I've been going under What's New, which still appears to be the same list fo games for a while now. Don't they usually add new games left to right every Tuesday or Thursday? Did they possibly change something? Leave a reply back if you have any info.

Not all games show up in that section, but the game release schedules are also not set in stone. As to how often new games are released, that depends on the devs and there is little to no pattern.

Friend list is full, I will be clearing room for Bravely Default soon though. Colors! 3D Gallery, My Blog

Like @KittenKoder said that it is not set in stone and some of the big Nintendo games usually released on Sunday in North America. But there is a couple of eShop games release every week just like PSN store. (I'm not sure about Microsoft Marketplace.)

For Europe the eShop releases usually happened on Monday (don't know the time or timezone so sorry about that). For North America the eShop release usually happened on Thursday 9AM PST.

For PSN store it is on Tuesday but vary throughout the day so you better off checking on Wednesday.

That is all I know so far.

Umm… Care to have some gravy?

Nintendo eShop updates at 9am PT every Thursday in North America - there is usually at least one new addition every week, if not more, and these will appear under New Software in the Recent Arrivals tab (I assume that's how it's laid out in the North American storefront). If you're unsure if that's displaying all the most recent additions, hit the search icon in the top-right corner of the Nintendo eShop main menu and search for all software - that'll order all games, newest first.

It's also worth noting that demos and special offers don't appear as new arrivals; these should be listed separately, but as I don't have access to the North American version of Nintendo eShop, I can't help much in that regard.

@Cipher: You are pretty much spot on for North American version of Nintendo eShop. I assuming you are using European version of Nintendo eShop.
