I have downloaded escapeVektor about a year ago and deleted it after few levels since I couldn't stand the whole Platinum Medals I couldn't get. Recently I searched the web a bit for guides about the game and how to achieve those Platinum Medals. Although I found no guide I did came across a series of articles written by Nnooo themselves, explaining things about the game. They mentioned that getting Platinum Medals at the beggining of the game is kind of impossible. And so, I have decided to give this title another chance. I'm still pretty early into the game but I have seen this video:
And I'm amazed by how easily medals are earned in the video. So, does anyone knows how they got those medals so easily? Are there any methods to boost you scores or something? Or, do you get more points when your version is higher?
When you get more points, your little ship gets upgrades that make it much easier to achieve platinum times.
It's a very little game if you just play the game through the first time, then use medals and time trials as replay value to go back and revisit earlier levels.
@ejamer Thank you for your answer but now I have another one: Is Detonating and Boostenating the same thing? I mean, if I'll use Boostenate in a level, will it count as if I were using Detonate?
They are different, but I don't know if using Boostenate in a level counts as a Detonate (and don't recall why that matters).
Sorry. It's been a while since playing... although this topic might be a good reason to pull it out and enjoy a few levels again.
