Topic: flipnote studio 3D

So....apparently its confirmed for later this year

Hey NL forum! I'm the guy who imported a Japanese 3DS a few months ago. I regret nothing.

The past couple days I've been working hard on http://www.reddit.com/r/FlipnoteStudio3D , trying to get it to look nice and awesome. It's intended as a place to share your Flipnotes with others.

Even if you're not experienced with Reddit, I hope you give /r/FlipnoteStudio3D a chance once you get a hold of FS3D. It's REALLY easy to sign up for a reddit account, an email address isn't even required. Just upload your Flipnote to YouTube, and then post the link to /r/3DS where people can vote on submissions.

Well, the DSi is supposed to be fun. A minus button for negative evaluations right there on the screen would detract from that. Besides, if you gave someone a minus, you would need to give them some kind of reason as feedback, and if you submitted something and got three minuses, you wouldn't like it very much. Then, even if you couldn't be certain, you'd start wondering who gave you a minus and consider giving one in return. It would be a vicious circle.

What Flipnote projects do you all have planned? I'm planning on creating a full-length music video for a contest.

I'm so excited! I'll probably do a couple very short, music themed flipnotes for practice and then move on to something a little more complicated<3

I don't think Flipnotes are that important to warrant a subforum.

I was surprised to see Amiibo get their own section.

There doesn't need to be an entire subform, although an official, maybe stickied, flipnote sharing thread would be nice.

Anyways, I probably won't make anything too great with Flipnote, although I would like to try and see if I can create some Zelda CD-i style animations!

The "Flipnote Sutdio (sic) 3D" sample Flipnotes video is back on the NA eShop after being removed a week or so ago. I feel like today is probably the day.

Oh boy! I don't even know why I'm so excited, or why I'm constantly checking CN, since I know I'm not going to use it that much. I guess it's just because it's free!

I am guessing it is because Club Nintendo was flooded and people were unable to sign on, which probably slowed down the process of uploading all those codes to all those people. Still haven't gotten my code

Are users even able to post flip notes on the forum? If so, I may consider a sharing thread

@TingLz we should be able to, either through YouTube or as GIFs. I think someone else was discussing a Flipnote sharing thread eariler as well, so yeah, a Flipnote sharing thread would be great!
