@JaxonH: I'm not really the person you should be asking about Fire Emblem difficulty, I only played Awakening lol. (yep, a noob. But I'll get to the gba games soon.)
I played on Normal and I spent a good 2 hours on several missions just because I had to keep restarting them over and over when I realized I was going to lose.
The game is brutal, but like in a good way. Almost like dark souls. I hear that on the hardest difficulty the game is absolutely ridculous. Chapter 10, 24, and the endgame were all ridiculous difficulty spikes for me, and other people I've talked too. The map design is fantastic as well, and adds to a lot of the challenge. Except the endgame map, screw that!
Check out my YouTube channel if you love gaming, and Nintendo (especially Metroid) I think you'll enjoy my videos. :)

How does a bond unit works? Can someone help me out with this?
You'll have to give accessories with someone a few times and then a bond unit will be made. They're pretty interesting since they come with different personal skills unlike the avatar who only comes with one fixed personal skill.
@yokokazuo Interesting, my bond unit looked like this when I recruited her: I guess she grew up fast like the Fates Children.
Haha, when did you get yours? I don't know exactly how this works, but do they appear for the other person once they visit after the first person recruits them?
I think I got mine right when I gave you an accessory.
@Sticker sure, I usually give accessories to all who visit my castle anyways so I'll try to visit yours more often.
I got mine a few minutes after I saw your post about getting a bond unit from my castle so it seems like that's the case as I got the bond unit after sending you an accessory.
Fire Emblem Fates Birthright charted at #9 on NPD! If all three SKUs were combined (Birthright, Conquest, SE), it would be at #3 on the chart! Outsold Street Fighter V at retail.
Sales for Fates are just under 400k in the US, including digital! Congrats, Nintendo!
@Iggly
You're still a registered friend on 3DS- how can I visit your castle? I wouldn't mind passing a few accessories to see what this whole "bond unit" thing is about.
Psalms 22:16 (1,000 yrs before Christ)
They pierced My hands and feet
Isaiah 53:5 (700 yrs before Christ)
He was pierced for our transgressions
Zachariah 12:10 (500 yrs before Christ)
They will look on Me whom they pierced
Okay stupid question, but I just purchased Fire Emblem Fates Revelation and literally have no idea where I'm supposed to go to access it. I've tried Dragon's Gate, Branch of Fate, Explore Fates, Extra Data, etc and can't find it, even though it's supposedly downloaded. Help? Please?
@BadMediaKarma:
You can either start a new game and pick a side in a chapter 6 when you get there, or, go to Branch of Fate, make a character and start directly in Chapt 6 where you pick a side.
Either way, you have to pick a side in that chapter.

@BadMediaKarma:
Yes of course. You'll have the choice of all 3 no matter what, but any path you've purchased will be free and any path you haven't purchased will take you to the eShop.
The game starts at Chapter 1. That's where you should start- NEW GAME. The only reason the give you the option to start in Ch. 6 with Branch of Fate is because all three paths share the same first six chapters. And nobody wants to replay those same six chapters 3 separate times- once for each of the three paths. So your first playthrough- regardless of which path you choose, should be done by starting a brand-new game. Then once you get to chapter 6 in the storyline you will have to pick a side.
Then after you finish the game if you want to play another path you can shortcut directly to chapter 6 if you so desire, via Branch of Fates, unless of course you have a thing for replaying the same chapters over and over

@JaxonH: Okay great—thanks! I couldn't remember if there was a third option to choose from in chapter 6, which is why I got confused. As you can probably tell, I've never bought DLC before.
