Topic: Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest

What do you think is going to be the Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest for 3DS?

Final Fantasy 7 or 5, 6 than 7 or Start over with 1 and 2?
Dragon Quest 7 or something different?

I think they'll do FF6, but skip 5.

I really want 7-12 because nintendo never got those ones

FF: New Crystal Chronicles, New Tactics, V and VI remakes
DQ: New Monsters, Possibly new Heroes, VII remake, maybe VIII port/remake.

I think they shoud carry on with the remakes and bring FF5 and FF6 to the 3ds and then remake some of the FF games that aren't on nintendo consoles.

ITS CALLED 3Ds so i think 7,8,and maybe even tactics

I agree mariofanatic128 thats what they should do, I have a PS2 but dont want to buy any FF for it, at 1st I thought of FF7-12 for 3DS, but than I saw How Powerful the 3DS is and said "They Could probably do up to 14 if they wanted to"

Also Itll feel weird to me to have DQ9 before 7 and 8 in Chronicle order

Oh, yes.

I'd bet that, aside from spinoff games (DQ Monsters, etc), the first "proper" DQ we'll see on the 3DS will be DQ XI (because X has been confirmed for Wii, correct?). FF-wise, i'd expect more spinoff titles first, maybe another Crystal Chronicles game.

PLEASE Square Enix, Rocket slime! and Final fantasy, im hoping for ff7-ff8 or any remake I guess, or a ffcc that does suck

As long its not a Crystal Chronicle game, then yes.

But I would like to see some Mana Games

I don't know if the 3DS cartridges will be big enough to fit Final Fantasy VII. VIII or IX on them, and I can promise you X - XII are well beyond the ability of the 3DS.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 3D remake of VI, but other than that I expect Square Enix will stick to the inferior Crystal Chronicles series on 3DS.

I hope the new Dragon Quest is XIII, because I'm probaby never gonna get another PS2 and would love to play it

I just want FF IX and maybe XII.

I'd prefer something completely new from Square Enix though.

For someone like me who REFUSES TO BUT A FF GAME FOR HIS PS2 all of the ff games past 7 would be new, actually Ive only played 1 and TAY but I would buy more if they were on 3DS
