Hello. I don't really post much on forums but I wanted to alert you all to a possible issue. A quick glance through some other forums shows that this issue has affected other users. Also I put it on the 3DS board because I figured that it would get more views and because the issue seems to stem from the attempted download of the transfer tool.

Anyways I was attempting to download the transfer tool last night, and everything was fine until it got to 99%. It then indicated that there was a download error and told me to reset the system so I did. Now everytime I turn the DSI on it on it says there is an error (No code) and to reset the system. Thats all it does. I have never used any of those emulator cards and my firmware was up to date (I checked right before). I have tried everything including a battery pull to rectify this issue and nothing works. I called Nintendo support and all they could offer was to send it in and pay the $85 (which I will do if I have to as I gave this DSI to my son when I got the 3DS and he really likes it-I was simply trying to transfer the games off that he didn't like). It does have a broken trigger button, so getting that fixed would at least be some consolation- but I am still quite upset because I feel that this was not really my fault.

Anyways as stated previously, a few others have experienced this. My best guess is that there must be certain variables, when lined up correctly, that cause this problem. I will continue to support Nintendo but I would have rather spent that $85 on games and such. Just a heads up to everyone out there...

This is the other forum I found where some people were having this issue. Sorry, I am not sure how to make links (l really don't post often!). I would like to warn you that some people use "colorful" language in some of their posts in this particular thread.
