Let us know what you hear back from Nintendo. Hopefully they will fix this soon. I'm surprised they don't do better (any?) testing before they roll out eShop content updates.

maybe a small ammount of data was lost when they uploaded the newest update to the american servers(or so I hope, because if this is the case it'll be solved in the blink of an eye)

Takes forever to load the eShop and crashes when I try to exit.

Just tried it again and it froze up I added 20.00 to my account to buy a couple games then it froze and rebooted before I started any downloads. Hopefully the next update will make the system more stable. It does seem like a system crash.

Still playing 3DS but will have Switch soon for multiplayer with friends. I miss you guys! Adam, Joni, Gavin and the rest of the Blue Rogues from the Phantasy Star Zero Days.

Happened 3 times in a row last Thursday then hasn't since but I'm not sure if it is luck it hasn't since or what but I could only think I either damaged my system some how or the new theme is a problem.

I got an error twice, once when I had just got on the eshop and again when I was about to exit the eshop.

Yes, it just started happening to me yesterday. This seems to be a Nintendo problem.

I thought I was the only person experiencing the Nintendo 3DS eShop crashing. I don't even understand it, as I often just casually browse the categories without actually purchasing or loading anything. I guess it does seem like a common issue with the latest system software update as I notice. I am using an original Flame Red North American 3DS model, by the way.

Wishing this world would pay any sort of attention to the smaller details.

I'm glad that I found this because I was thinking that Iwas gonna have to send my 3dsxl back yet again. Thankfully, this means I wont have to, I guess.

I found a thread about it on NOA's support forum. No official response from Nintendo. Does Nintendo ever respond to problems reported on their support forum or do they just ignore it like Apple ignores their own support forum?

Has anyone tried reporting the problem to Nintendo? Gotten any response? If so, did it sound like they have a clue?

OK guys I think I have this figured out give it a try. Do not use system buttons to click back from categories or Videos. Instead use the touch screen only to browse the Eshop. I just browsed the Eshop for 40 minutes no errors or freeze ups. Try that out and see if it works for you until the next update

Actually, I think the reason you aren't crashing is because they fixed it with the weekly Thursday content update. I just tried it and used nothing but system buttons and didn't crash. Before today I could crash the eShop in seconds flat.

Sometimes my e-shop crashes or freezes but it's never restarted the entire system. I have a 3dsXL
