Can I copy and paste sd card data from my 2ds (which I no longer have) to a new 3ds xl with the same nnid?

There are three options to select from when performing a transfer to a New Nintendo 3DS system:

PC-Based Transfer: This option allows you to use a PC to copy the data from the source system's SD Card to the target system's microSD Card.

Wireless Transfer: This option allows you to move all your current content to the new system via a local wireless connection.

Low-Capacity microSD Card Transfer: This option allows you to move all but your downloaded content to the new system via a local wireless connection. Once the transfer has been complete, you will be able to redownload your content and your save data will be restored.
