Ive been using it, Compared to colors! and art academy the drawing itself is pretty crappy the pencil tool anti-aliasing is ugly and still looks like your drawing with pixels, drawing to fast will give you blocky lines, so its good they added a draft mode, so you can clean up when zooming in clean mode. No matter how much you fiddle with the option for the pencil tool, you can never get a nice clean line like you do in colors!
Other than that everything else works like its suppose too, man I'm just very disappointed with the line art, and no wet brush. Once I find a good pencil to work with ill let you know. Ill have more later, I am still interested in using it, but I already have a hurdle to jump with.
So far the other options look neat. If you have any questions let me know.
They have a wonderful panel designer if you don't like what they have to offer in pages. Its really smart!
When drawing you get to sketch your whole page then focus on one panel at a time.
Circle Tool and square tool are actually pretty smart you can move and resize what you draw and confirm it, something I still cant do in photoshop!
Bubbles for talking are straight forward just resize the shape and move the pointer, very awesome
Default Stamp and pattern collection is nice and has all your favorite typical comic book and manga stuff, of course you can make your own too which is a great for people who need want to grab other things from there favorite manga of comics.
3 different ways to deal with the interface so plenty of room to find the best way to deal with menus
tutorials help a lot especially for people who are not familiar with drawing apps like these
background music is nice and they have a bunchto choose from
Drawing is fast no need to wait for any rendering it will do it while you draw.
What Sucks
The pencil tool. In panel 1, is straight clean pixel. In panel 2 and 3 is Anti-aliasing, as you can see in some cases like the keyboard it still looks like im drawing with pixel. Your going to have to experiment a lot if you want something to look very clean.
Choppy drawing ala art academy but a bit worse draw slow to solve this.
No Poly tool. Your going to have to deal with lines for you perspective options
resizing quality is garbage, try not to rely on any resizing even the most smallest change can look pixelated.
Printing Info
MAgna Size is at 4.5 x 7 inches (official size with out bleed) at 128 dpi for printing. Good enough to do a good resizing program and fake the 300 dpi.
Bottom line its a really well designed program with some flaws, (The resolution is almost the same as color so there is no excuse why the pencil tool could be a bit better in quality) but I highly recommend it if you want to make web comics and fake printing too. But you going to have to experiment a lot with the tools. The interface looks complex but you'll get use to it.

@pokenas, that looks pretty good but did you write in the speech balloons or is it automated text? I always prefer the look of a letter than generic forn no offence.
Ah, would you say it's more geared towards comics or manga style art? Sorry for all the questions, I'm tempted by the game but it's not released here yet.
Been using comic book workshop for a week, been working on my story as a web comic since doing animation is way too much work. Once you get use to it, its an amazing program for the 3ds here is a page from my comic and here are some VERY important tips:
1. ALWAYS USE THE RESIZE TOOL AND STAMP TOOLS AT 100% or HIGHER, any lower will further pixelate your graphics in an ugly mess!
2. PUT YOUR TEXT AND TEXT CLOUDS ON SEPARATE LAYERS. Just in case you need to fix misspellings or move text around.
3. ABOUT PRINTING:
The page dpi compared to original manga size book is 128 dpi, not enough, so if you use algorithm resize software (like photo zoom) and resize it to 300dpi you can get very, very crispy text and artwork! Make sure you print manga size (5.5 x 7.75 in) a template will help.
