I got CC3D. I like the sandbox mode. I don't really like career mode.
I have experienced four crashes of this game (no pun intended) in one day.
First crash - I was in career mode going from edit to test. The game crashed.
Second crash - Imported a QR code coaster. Crashed.
Third crash - Career mode working on the challenge where you have to avoid the targets
Fourth crash - Same as above, except I was just about ready to test it. Very frustrating.
sak904, have you tried the suggested workaround of creating several new Miis in MiiMaker, and also disabling Mii Riders in the Options menu? This should solve the crash problem temporarily until the update is available.
@Arkaein
Any word from Nintendo on when your game will be released in Canada? Really looking forward to this.
Should be available very soon (also in the rest of the Americas). There was just a mixup getting some of the necessary pricing info to Nintendo, so it should be resolved very soon.
@Arkaein
Thanks, before I was going to download this game because it looked good but now I'm going to download because you are an amazing director. I love how you care about your fans and have been answering all our questions. More developers should be like you. From all of us readers on NintendoLife,
Thank You!!!!

Yes I have tried this. Could it perhaps be the special (gold pants) miis? Just trying to figure out what it is for me then lol

Shouldn't have anything to do with the type of Miis. If you are sticking mostly to Sandbox mode then disabling Mii Riders in the Options menu SHOULD be all you need to do, since that mode handles the option correctly. Adding new Miis is a workaround for people who are having problems in Career mode.
In other news, we received word at BJG from Nintendo that Coaster Creator will be available in Canada, Mexico, and Brazil tomorrow!

I created about 10 new Miis (many more than I've deleted) and it happens a ton still. When will the patch come out?

Just got word that the update should be available in about one week. I can't make guarantees though, it's in Nintendo's hands right now for review.
Hey everyone, (@Arkaein) - this is Jeremy here. I posted in the comments section of the NL review for Coaster Creator 3D, but I figured it'd be good to post it here. I have been in contact with the folks at Big John Games for the past couple of weeks and I created a simple webpage that I am posting my custom coaster QR codes, as well as any others that are emailed to me. While it is not "official", Big John Games is supportive of my efforts, even posting a link to my page on their Facebook page.
I would like to invite you all to come check out my (very basic) site and scan the handful of QR codes I have collected so far. Please feel free to email me via the page and submit your QR codes.
@sak904, I'm pleased to announce that we've just received word from Nintendo that the update has been approved and should be available for download tomorrow, Friday 5 April. Sorry to everyone that's been waiting.
Also, a reminder that there is another thread in these forums for sharing you best coasters as QR Codes. Everyone be sure to contribute and show off your coaster creation skills to the world.
We're currently looking into a few different publishing options for Europe. It will definitely come to Europe at some point this year, but nothing more specific than that has been determined.
So, has anyone else noticed that the update made it so the passengers don't stay on the cars and get in the way of the first person camera? Itt needs fixed, and it makes the game pretty much unplayable.

@mystman12 I just took a look at this, and see you are correct. We will have to post another update to correct this, but please remember it takes a while for updates to be approved by Nintendo.
I disagree that it makes the game unplayable. First of all, it only happens with 3D enabled, and only affects modes with riders. Track editing is not affected. Second, even when you can see your rider, he never fully blocks the view. For the most part, the rider's shoulders only cover a bit of the screen bottom unless you deliberately look down towards your lap, which usually isn't an interesting view in any case! Other camera modes are technically affected, but the visual impact of the bug is pretty minimal in these modes.
@ANGRYBALDMAN666 we are working on a European release. Stay tuned for details!

Okay, I guess you're right. I probably just said it was unplayable because I was upset. I'm glad to hear you're working on an update though!
