Topic: Clearing my SD card.

Just going to ask before I attempt it later.

If I copy all my files onto my pc and place them onto my pc and then clear the sd card. If I place all the files onto my sd card again will my 3DS be able to pick up the games or will I have to download all the games again.

Reason I am doing this is because my 3DS card cannot check my softwares in the manage software (it is able to download games and run them no problem).

As Waltz said, you should be fine.

Also- it even works if you places the files in another SD card. I did that when I upgraded from my 4GB to my 16GB and everything, even SAVE STATES were transfered over with no problem. I highly recommend you don't remove the SD Card while the 3DS is on though. It could corrupt your files and ultimately, you'll lose everything. Happened to me once. Never doing that again.

Does it work for Wii downloads too? Can you transfer everything to a new SD card and still have it work on the Wii?

Yup, just make sure that you copy the folders as they are to the other SD card
