@SLIGEACH_EIRE If the embargo is the same for all reviewers (I'm still a bit clueless as to how they work), then it'll be 9 PM Pacific/ Midnight Eastern time, if the upload time of Gamexplain's review is anything to go by. Which is highly suspect on Nintendo's part.
@shaneoh were it anyone else I'd agree. Famitsu is quick on the draw of giving things really high praise/higher than it deserves at times.

Star Fox Zero is GOTY... I don't see a problem with their score
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

The problem is it isn't a perfect score :V
I might get this game down the line after I get a new 3ds
Well reviews are coming in and I can say it seems like it's considerable better then most thought it will be. It will still fail of course but hopefully it will get more people to try it then not.

Considering how Famitsu tends to score games, 30/40 is not good at all.
The joke has been made that even though it's a 40-point scale, just subtract 30 from it and treat the remainder as a rating of 1-10.
Of course, considering how other sites are rating it coupled with Japan's handheld bias, 7.5/10 feels about right.

That article on the front page kinda shows my point. Too many reviewers going into the game with a bias then bashing it because it isn't a standard metroid game. The ones approaching it with an open mind seem to be enjoying themselves a lot more.

@CrazedCavalier His point is that Famitsu scores are EXTREMELY generous.
I don't think they ever rated a Nintendo game as low as a 30/40. In their case 75/100 is mediocre.
It's pretty clear that the more advertised a game is, the more biased towards it Famitsu is.
FF getting a fairly "honest" review score just re-affirms that it wasn't hyped up or advertised that much.

I think we can all agree that getting above a 5/10 from being petitioned to be canceled is a pretty damn good rating for what people where hoping for this game.

So when facing a boss, they took me out, but then ran into a mine which finished off the rest of their health haha. In the end the mission still succeeded so I guess that's good
@Pikmin22 I'm almost positive I seen it said during the blastball demo that all skins can be unlocked during gameplay. Of course amiibos just unlock them quicker.
I'm glad we are finally getting some impressions. It feels like it went dead in here. I have it but can't find the time to play it till maybe next week.
