@BrittGOAL14 what is the dialogue with Isabelle like when you discuss citizen satisfaction. It tells you a lot.
The infamous "so-so" stuff. Still need more greenery at the moment. Last time I had the perfect town I was on day 14 and the townspeople became unhappy all of a sudden, wanting more PWPs. Dagnabbit.

You have got to be kidding me. Planted enough trees last night, I think, but now we "live in a landfill". Really? How can we with the Beautiful Town ordinance in place? Good grief.
EDIT: problem solved! I now have a perfect town... Hopefully it'll stay this way for 15 days.
@Prayer Congrats! Hope you enjoy this awesome (and addictive) game!

Thanks This is my first day so Im kinda new to this, so if anyone has a tip where to start I would be very greatful. Btw I have managed do gather some money and bought myself a house Cant wait for tomorrow to see it!
I really don't understand why people are having such a hard time with the perfect town thing. I stopped playing for a week, came back, and found Jacob's Ladders growing in my town. So I talked to Isabelle, and, lo and behold, my town was in fact perfect. Even though there were plenty of shriveled flowers and weeds. So I played it almost every day, I may have missed a few (I don't remember), for 15 days, and today I got the golden watering can. I didn't do anything special; I just watered most of the flowers and pulled all the weeds, and talked to some residents and ran some errands for them. Nothing out of the ordinary. I even had (and still have) tons of fruits and items (not garbage items, though) laying around town. I think you guys that are having trouble are trying too hard. Just relax! It (apparently) is not as hard as it seems.
A little blue piggy named Hugh is moving out of my town on the 5th. If anyone would like him you can have him. I've hated him since the day I've gotten him, but that's not his fault... I even took a picture of him crying when I told him I wouldn't miss him
EDIT: Oh I forgot to mention he might have emotional problems from all of the times I hit him
I have a free download code from the Welcome a Friend promotion. You're only eligible if you have registered a 3DS XL after August 8th, I think it's Europe only also.
Here is the code: Ck8Ptj4d2BCU3aErYPSLhXUj
Enjoy the free game.
PS: When you download the game you should also get a code, please be kind and send that along to others.
Just registered here to give you a thousand thanks You just saved me 35 pounds!
Can you give me the code you got. Like CharmingBear said "When you download the game you should also get a code, please be kind and send that along to others."
Alot of fish and bugs are gone for the year after toady including frogs, Killifish, Giant Snakeheads, Napoleonfish, Squids, Darner Dragonflies, Banded Dragonflies, Tarantulas, the beetles, and the cicadas (except for Walker Cicadas).
I luv this game alot but I think its sad that the overpriced projects and expensive prices for upgrading homes/stores can only be dealt with one way: grinding late night at a island. In the beginning, I embraced that and loved islanding grinding repeatedly. Now that alotta time has passed since I first started, its kinda pushing me away from playing. I still love the game, though. When people ask me should they buy the game, I tell them: "Its a great game and its even better with friends. Just beware of how expensive things get as you progress."

Also show Blather's alot of fossils and fish in the river from 4PM to 9AM
What counts as garbage on the ground? Beautiful Town ordinance still in place and we live on a landfill again. Fishing for garbage and searching for lost items/weeds. Just curious as to what else would count.
