Think i've screwed up and accidentally sold my Silver Shovel. Two questions: is there a way to buy it again from the Museum Shop? If not, does anyone have a spare i can buy or trade???

You have just saved my day.. i was feeling very low and stupid. This afternoon I ran into a bloke in town who was playing AC:NL and we did a Nearby Town visit but alas, he had no shovels in his shops. OTOH: he did gift me some lychees and lemons, now all i need is a shovel to plant them

Got the golden watering can after removing my garbage can from town. Turns out it prevented me from getting it the whole time! Now I have the golden slingshot, axe, shovel and can; so the fishing rod and net are a couple of months away to being obtained.

Some stuff seems to be taking a long time to happen. That guy in Re-tail is STILL asleep after playing the game for 2 weeks. I really would like the second floor of the museum as well. And a sling shot haha. Although on the plus side, Nookling Junction is getting remodeled starting tomorrow.
Oh and I now have the QR code sewing machine in Able Sisters, meaning I now have a Snorlax shirt. Awesome.

It took longer than 2 weeks for Cyrus to wake up in my game(I'm guessing around a month or so after playing each day). In order for the 2nd floor of the Museum to be opened, you must donate at least one bug, fish, fossil and artwork. As for the slingshot, you should be able to buy it when Nooking's Junction gets re-modeled the first time(it get re-modeled quite a bit).
