After several months I decided to get rid of cobblestone bridge and replace it with wooden one. I got the bridge demolished and excited to place wooden bridge in its place I found out I am not able to. Turns out this new resident (who moved there before demolition) got his house too close to the river and now I cant place the bridge nowhere near where I need to. I have owned this game since launch so you can imagine I have made some real progress. There are already so many things along the way to that nonexistent bridge. Police station, plaza, Reese, ton of red hibiscus and just too much to even be able to change direction of my 4pattern wide cobblestone road surrounded by houses and hibiscus... Its pretty much clear to me that I can only do one thing: get rid of the resident whose house does this. I need to know how to get rid of him asap. Do I ignore him? Torture him? Complain about him to Isabelle every day?

Please help. My town only had two bridges so now its really inconvenient. The residents name is Tucker and hes lazy type elephant if that helps..

Complain to Isabelle. Dig around his house. Leave pitfalls for him to fall in to if possible. Hit him over the head with a net. Never talk to him. He should be wanting to leave after a few days.

I can easily help you with this little problem real quickly.
Just let me into your town and I'll nicely remove that unwanted elephant......But its gonna cost you some bells, and maybe a few other nice things, but we can work something out.

For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.

NEVER! HIT! HIM! WITH! A! NET!
Let me put it this way. The way friendship works in ACNL is that you climb a ladder "stage" every time you talk to someone. Every time you hit one stage you become better friends. Ignoring someone will make the ladder go down slowly. Hitting him with a net, or axe, or pushing him into a pit, will make it stay at that stage you are currently at.

You could also hire Luca Brasi. I think he appears in the list of PWPs.

Supposedly torturing him makes him want to stay. If you ignore him he'll leave because the game thinks you don't want him, but if you torture him he won't leave.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

How does that work? If someone torturing me, I'd... y'know... want to leave... and quickly. As for ignoring, I don't care, I like that.

@Link-Rova It worked well for me ever since I was told to do that. Works like a charm.
