If you can buy cards off amazon, you can buy games off the eshop, because you obviously have a regular credit card. As said earlier, you can get plain Visa/Mastercard prepaid cards at Target/Walmart/Grocery Stores/Drug Stores (at least in the US, but I'd be surprised if you can't in Canada too). Getting one of those would probably be the easiest way to go about ordering games. Just put $20 on the thing at the store and, voila, instant eshop money.

Only points cards on Amazon, credit cards charge interest, pre-paid cards have fees. The only way to get $10 eShop for $10 seems to be at select retail outlets, which is very odd, because points cards are everywhere.
I was lucky to pick a couple up at a Sainsburrys once, but because they are soooooo hard to get hold of I have to really consider what I can spend my points on because I dont know where and when I will be able to get them again. I would have bought a lot more things if the cards where much more readily available.

Not extremely into nintendo at the moment, but not really into anything else either. :|
I have found plenty of eShop cards in Melbourne, Australia. The shelves dedicated to them are filled up. We had so many I was able to buy the card versions for myself and a $15 card for my friend's birthday today and I am working on getting the somewhat rarer cardless variety.

Well they are pretty much in any GAME store in the UK, which is ironic as they dont seem to be selling anything else new. #cough# Tekken 3DS, Last Story, UBIsoft Vita games, etc...#cough#
