@XJ0462 - I mean I have been looking for months, they are not in Canada, excuses given so far, that they are updating there machines, we don't have them yet try else where, we don't have them won't know when well get them, they are not coming instead we will sell eshop codes right on the a piece of paper for you well getting the code straight from Nintendo, all of North America's eshop cards went to the states and my favourite, no. Take your pick I checked again on Saturday, still no, so none in Canada
edit: there was also July, that never happened because I waited to August just to be safe and still no.
you can try buying one if you travel to the states and just switch the shop home to the states....or get a credit card....that's the only way for canadians to buy games off of the E Shop
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I heard a new reason we don't have them in Canada today, it's great, in fact I think I will post the conversation; me - Do you have a Nintendo eshop card? Person at counter - For the Nintendo 3ds? me - yes. person at counter - no. me - do you know when you are getting them? person at counter - In january because the cards aren't bilingual yet. me -thank you
And so I wait to january, then the hunt continues. I love how weak this one if Europe has the cards, but that might be by countries and how many langues they have, but still, rather annoying. At this point I might just email Nintendo, so I can get a solid date.

No eShop cards at my Walmart (I live in the US). I haven't seen eShop cards anywhere, yet there are Nintendo Points cards everywhere.
It would be much easier for Nintendo to just have 1 card that is redeemable for either points or eShop money. $20 card = 2000 points.and $20 eShop money

eShop cards are supposed to be just that, aren't they? Even the Wii Shop Channel's interface was updated so it shows images of eShop cards when you redeem a code.
Granted, it's not much use when the eShop cards are hardly available anywhere.
If you go to a Staples or Pharmaplus or any big chain store, they usually carry prepaid Visa and master cards. All you do is get a 25$ card, and input the 16 digit card code and 3 digit security code and there you go. You now have 25$ for the E-shop.
