I was thinking today how it would be really neat if we could sort the "squares" on the eShop in a similar way to how we sort the "squares" on our 3DS home page.
There's something about only being able to scroll from left to right that bothers me.
I can understand this. I think a good example would be PSN where they have menus on the left and when looking at a list of games you have the option of having several squares both horizontal and vertical. With the stylus this would make sense to do it this way. Mainly because as improved as the eshop is from the garbage DSiWare shop, it's still clunky for finding content. Those made up squares every week do little to help and the search option would really help from this grid of cubes instead of a list of 5-8 titles before another page.
Yeah, I'd prefer a Grid format. Plus, the way some of the games are organized doesn't make much sense. This week had three compilations of random games. I want the ability to freely search by genre, format, and price.

You can, but a grid format like the main menu would be much better at doing this then the current search result format.
