I haven't had a black screen problem since the eshop update. It also fixed some of the issues that plagued StreetPass Mii Plaza. The icon spinning issue is gone as well. So I'm guessing Ridge Racer.
What issues plagued Streetpass Mii Plaza?
If you add me, I need to at least know you or I won't add you back.
It sure as hell didn't fix my @#$*ing broken Link's Awakening. Did I ever mention I had to keep my 3DS on for over 24 hours to complete the game because every time I would save and quit and/or create a restore point, the next time I turned on my 3DS all my data would be completely gone? No? Well that totally happened. And it's still happening. But I'm apparently the only person in the world with that problem, and of course the game is completely amazing, so it didn't affect my review.
Also, deleting/re-downloading it doesn't help. Already tried like three times.
Never got that fixed, did you? Well that sucks. You weren't able to fully enjoy a game because of an issue in which only your 3DS had. And Link's Awakening still got a 10! Amazing.
I have ridge racer and I have never had the screen freeze. Oh well time to update...again.
Formally Square-enixFan, Neo-GeoFan. A lover of fine games and handheld systems!!!!!!!!!! The New 3DS XL is amazing, soon the NX will be upon us! Backloggery Check my Youtube channel out! http://www.youtube.com/user/Ha...

Hmmm...That sounds like a real problem you got there. Do you own any other VC titles that have this problem? It might just be a problem your system has with all VC games. Perhaps you should call Nintendo and schedule a repair before your 3DS becomes too old and has too much save data on it to potentially lose.
Ah, I see. They've got some mighty nice stuff on their eShop already! I really hope that video thing hits the rest of the world tomorrow. Plus their VC is looking better too. I can only hope tomorrow's update is full of Nintendo goodness!
Well the eShop's real first official update that adds new stuff is tomorrow so hopefully we get a lot of cool new stuff. I'm not expecting too much, bit I really want Kirby's dream Land tomorrow!

Just emailed Nintendo about it. It's only Link's Awakening, which is incredibly strange. I've played Mario Land and Radar Mission a lot and I use Restore Points quite a bit on the former, but I've never had either of them glitch up at all. I've had Steel Diver freeze on me a few times this week, though...so it might be the system. Who knows, right? I just don't want to send in my system before I get to play through Ocarina!

That, and Donkey Kong (which Japan got today).
Oh yeah! I can't believe I forgot about Donkey Kong! That game was great. I'm not getting my hopes up but it would be nice if we got it tomorrow!

So glad someone else checked Nintendo's site ( Or at least, a source that explains it that's written just like what's on Nintendo's site ) instead of randomly guessing what it was.
