Not getting the 3DSXL tomorrow since I am perfectly happy with my current 3DS. Now when they bring out a 3DS with two circle pads than I might bite and get that one. As for NSMB2 I will be picking that up of course but I will be getting the cartridge rather than that download.

Stretching, how so? It's the same identical resolution as the previous 3DS. How is that blowing up or stretching the image?
The fact that the resolution is the same as the original 3DS is what causes the stretching. By not upping the resolution and simply increasing the size of the screen, you're getting stretched pixels.

Glad you Americans have finally got your 3DS XL! I'm thinking of "upgrading" too, I'd much prefer a bigger screen to play on, not to mention the gloss finish on the original gets on my nerves.
Games that look good on the original 3DS look spectacular on the XL (Kid Icarus, Zelda, Starfox). Stretching really is a misnomer as all the pixels are uniformly "stretched"; there is no distortion or skewing. And the screen is much improved in every way.

I just picked up my 3DS XL today and it's totally awesome!!! I have been playing for hours! Mario 3D Land will blow your mind on the XL. So does Resident Evil, and NSMB2! Ok so....this is the part where I disappear from the forum for a month or so....POOF!
Should I hold out until black friday for the best price or the holidays for the inevitable special bundle packs!?!? 2 options 2 many! Wait, will there be any bundle packs?? Are there already?

So for anyone who's already bought it. Does it come with preloaded software? Specifically, does it already have the eShop and Swapnote on the home menu? And does the camera have the video recording feature right away?
