yeah. i love my 3ds, but those damn marks on my top screen is beginning to be a serious concern. of course i use a protector, but the marks are there anyway. i dont feel like have this little pest of a problem forever.
so when you send the 3ds to nintendo for an exchange, is it possible that they copy your data to the new system ? because it would be so bad to lose everything and start again all my gaming stats, street pass in mii plaza, eshop downloads and scores, etc.
im thinking of exchanging it before the end of my warranty, but i really dont want to lose it all.
If you're getting it fixed by Nintendo, you likely won't lose anything, especially if you request to get your 3DS back from them, that's what happened with my DSi. If you get it exchanged, based on the DSi to 3DS transfer policy, you will probably only be privy to re-download any games that are associated with current 3DS as it will be a license transfer, all other stats will not likely be transferable in my estimation. ...I would imagine that pictures taken may be transferable too.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
To my surprise German Nintendo managed to tranfer all my save games to the replacement system i got for my broken Wii. Though unsurprisingly i had to download every game i downloaded again. For free. Instead of just being able to play them from the SD card. So i'd say don't worry, Samholy.
