I don't even know if this is the right forum to write this. Anyway I bought a Nintendo 3DS XL about 3 weeks ago. I'v probably charged it about 4 times. Needless to say I haven't done much gaming on it. I tried to plug it in today and now it doesn't want to charge?

I'v removed the battery and I'v pushed the charging pins out as well. Like wtf is the problem? It's never fallen and I have barely used it. It's still not working. You'd expect something that costs this much not to break a few weeks after purchasing it. I'm really unhappy about this. I didn't expect to have this problem so soon?

Anyway encounter something similar? Anyone know how to fix the problem or what it may be before I send it back to the store I bought it from?

@Ropper Just take it back to store, if you still have the receipt, it shouldn't be a problem. It's probably a hardware problem and issues like that always exist. There's always a chance a product isn't working properly, even if it's brand new.

@Ropper: Have you checked to make sure that it's actually the system, and not the charger failing? I'd test how it works using a different charger before returning it. My laptop wouldn't charge once, and the charger turned out to be the problem.

The only problem with this method is that you'll need to either borrow a charger or purchase one.

Ya it could be charger, my laptop quit charging but it was the charger itself.
