Omg never mind, I just found out that since I transferred all my data from my old 3DS to my New 2DS XL, I somehow have to update everything and all my game files in all my games are gone T-T if you add me on instagram we could dm when we are free to play and help each other get tools and stuff if you want? @TheGreatEGG how do you go to other cities or help one another out? Or am i still to early in the game? Ive only just put down payment for my house

All you have to do is make sure you took a picture on the Main Street place next to Tom nooks, the icon in the map is a camera. It cost some bells though. After that, go to the train station and talk to the monkey. He will ask to open the gates for nearby friend or for a faraway friend. that means that nearby is for local play and faraway is for online. Open the gates so people can go to your place or you can go to someone else’s town if their gates are open
