I'd argue Gunman Clive is equally unoriginal since both games feature a unique art-style (what the hell is 12-bit?) and nothing else. Cave Story as well, but it's a much better game then the other 2 combined so it's okay.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I got Crashmo, Mighty Switch Force, and Gunman Clive. All great games... Crashmo is difficult yet rewarding, Mighty Switch Force is short but sweet, as well as Gunman Clive being short but sweet. My favorite of the three is Crashmo, and counting Mega Man 2 , which I got three weeks ago, Mighty Sitch Force is in second place, Mega Man 2 is third, and Gunman Clive is in fourth place they are all a blast to play. Next time I get eShop money, I will either get Harmoknight, Jett Rocket II, or Mario VS Donkey Kong Minis on the Move if it's out. Thanks anyways!

KarrotMan

Seeing that Ketzal's Corridors is getting discounted to $5 later, I highly advise you to try the game out. It's certainly one of my favorite eshop puzzle games thus far. With some of the best 3D effects, an addictive twist to the Tetris formula that puts your reflexes to the test and loads of extra modes via world map, this game was destined to be played on a 3D portable machine. Just Get It.

Hey guys! It's me again. I'm adding some money this Friday. Should I get:
-Harmoknight (I heard this was fun)
-Mega Man 3 (I loved Mega Man 2.)
-Kersploosh
-Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels
-Buy a retail download and wait another few months to get other games

If you loved Megaman 2 I say go with Megaman 3. IMO 3 is better than 2 especially with the addition of the slide and Rush. 3 is considered by many to be one of the best in the series.

As for Super Mario Bros the Lost Levels that is a tough call. Alot of people like it than again alot of people like myself dont. Its is very similar to SMB but the difficulty has been cranked up alot. But if you love a good challenge and dont mind the similarity than that is a game for you.

I cant give an opinion on the other ones since I have not played them yet. Hope that helps.

Thanks! I'll definitely get Mega Man 3, and Harmoknight to go with.

Mega Man 3 is awesome. Definitely my favorite of the old school games, and by far the one I played most as a child.

Ugh. Men.

Nano Assault EX is beast for $15. Haven't tried the other 3 though. Other recommendations would be EscapeVektor, X-Scape and Art of Balance: Touch. I'm just guessing on what you might not have.

I've enjoyed Kersploosh!, and believe it's well worth the $2.99, but I haven't played the other games, so I can't compare.

Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I HIGHLY recommend ATV Wild Ride 3D!

It is VERY FUN! It is only $7.99 (for a $40 Nintendo 3DS experience). It has excellent controls, race courses, tricks, and presentation. It has online play (silky smooth connection). If you like racing games, please buy it! Also, Renegade Kid is a fantastic developer!

From a gameplay perspective, is Gunman Clive worth $2?

Yes, especially if you like Mega Man. The bosses are so fun that I sometimes boot it up just to fight them, lol.

I'm yet to play a single game that suggests that this is true.

Get Nano Assault if you haven't played the retail original, especially if you have a CPP, that game is begging to be played with it. Definitely one of my fave eshop games. If you are willing to add more funds, I'd say that Bloddy Vampire is a decent little Metroidvania. Just don't expect any spectacular visuals though, the game looks basically like a doujin game.

As for the other two you mentioned, I haven't played them but Wild Ride has great online MP and Kersploosh is a relatively short game that can be beaten under an hour but there is a bunch of incentives to replay each stage.

What, @BenAV you didnt find Muttant Mudds to be a good game?

I played it for about an hour or so, got a bit bored and haven't felt any motivation to return to it since.
I don't think it's a bad game, just pretty average.

The music was awesome really gave off a retro vibe. However, the lack of boss fights would be my only complaint about the game. Other than that, when you get to level 3-1 and beyond the game gets more engaging and challenging. Also the game makes you backtrack to reach the more difficult levels. :3

Meh, I just found it boring and I have too many other things to play so I'll probably never get around to it again.
