Agreed about the sales. Shame they missed the boat again with 3DS, hopefully they learn with Wii U.

Its really because everyone else goes with whatever is popular.
And people don't LET Nintendo be popular because they don't give them a chance.

Would you guys suggest getting Excitebike, VVVVVV (I think I got the right number of V's there), or wait for Zen Pinball 3D?
And also, how much content is there in VVVVVV?

I still don't know what you're talking about, but I will say this: What I don't appreciate is stiff pricing. Prices should be adjustable. and go down as the demand goes down, and have sales to attract customers and get them to spend their money.

VVVVV (coming this week)

I second this. One of the best platformers out there. It's also cheaper than the PC version, which I bought for $15 and now it's going for $7.99.

That's not true. I recently bought VVVVVV on Steam to check it out since I couldnt get it yet (EU). It only cost me 99p.
I like it - but now I'm thinking whether or not it's worth it to pay that much more just to get it on the 3DS.

There's quite a lot of content in VVVVVV, definately more than Excitebike. I recommend not getting Excitebike unless you honestly have played and enjoy the original a lot. The gameplay is bland and repetitive - not worth paying for unless you have a nasty case of nostalgia. VVVVVV is overpriced compared to the PC version, but its the better choice of the two. I dont have Zen Pinball so I couldnt tell you how good that is.

@sak904 - I'd avoid Excitebike. It has very little content for its price and just isn't as good as the other two. As for the amount of content VVVVVV has, there's a lot: while you can finish the main campaign in approximately two hours, give or take how good you are and whether or not you decide to go after all of the trinkets, there are a ton of indie developer-created worlds (as in, somewhere around 20) that greatly extend the game's content. But, consider your options: VVVVVV is only $5 on Steam (and fairly regularly goes on sale for $1.24), so if you're not too concerned about portability, that may be the better option. I can't speak about Zen Pinball, as I don't have it, so you may want to look at what other people have said about it and then decide.

Exactly.

What are some essential 3DSware games to have? VVVVVV looks really nice and so does the original Tetris. Any others I should look at?

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, would you kindly?

We already covered this: The price changed since I bought it. Believe it or not, prices actually drop on Steam, unlike the eShop.

I'd say look into VC games - some of them are pretty good. 3D-Classics Kirby's Adventure is my favourite 3DSWare not counting those you already mentioned though.

I highly recommend Zen Pinball 3D. Its a great value with 4 tables for 7 dollars and some change plus it will be supported with new DLC tables later on.

You should buy some more eShop credit and then pick up Zen Pinball Seriously though...as far as good 2 dollar purchases go, Aura Aura Climber is a great one. I also enjoy Touch Solitaire a lot. But really though, just wait until you have more money and buy something awesome like Zen Pinball 3D or Pushmo.

I love Art Academy but if you're interested I only suggest getting one or the other, not both. Its a really great painting application and you can really make some awesome looking art. The lessons are nice too but the main draw for me would be the free paint mode. Even though I think its great....I might still suggest you wait since Colors 3D is coming soon and looks to offer something similar but with the option to paint on 3D layers.

Cut the Rope on the eshop is suprisingly good. I have it too.
