For Xmas, I got a $20 eShop card, and I have no idea what to spend it on.
Help me!

I like platformers. I'm not a fan of puzzles or RPGS.

Thanks.

Then you're just going to have to buy DSiware, because the only 2 real good eShop games are puzzle heavy. Although Mighty Switch force does do a good job of balancing platofrmers with puzzles so I'd recommend it. I love it, but you may want to watch a few videos before you get it. It's only $5.99.
For DSiware platformer you definitely need Dark Void Zero.(500 points) Also, it's not a platformer but Aura Aura Climber's nice.(200 points)

What games do you already have?

Also Most og the eshop are puzzles and puzzle platformers.

Let me reprase my question. I don't like PUZZLE ONLY games, but puzzle platformers are okay.

That narrows it down by, well, a lot. Most of the platformers on there are puzzle games. Ah well, the best I can recommend to you are Shantae, 10 Second Run, and Guity Gear Tangent.

I own

ExciteBike
Netflix
Nintendo Video
20 Ambassador games
LoZ: Four Swords
Swapnote
3D Classics: Xevious
Mario vs Donkey Kong: Minis March Again!

Oh, well in that case. I highly recommend Mighty Switch Force. It has great music, great sprites, and a just right difficulty. Like I said earlier it does a good job of balancing Platformer and puzzle. It's cheap too. I love the game. I'm sure you'll enjoy it if you're ok with puzzle platformers.

Okay, it's official, I just got Mighty Switch Force. I still have $14 bucks left to spend. I'm gonna save these for later. THANKYOUSOMUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I second this. One of the best platformers out there. It's also cheaper than the PC version, which I bought for $15 and now it's going for $7.99.

I know that, but Mickeymac said it was cheaper than the PC version, which it isn't, so I was simply clarifying.

Agreed about the sales. Shame they missed the boat again with 3DS, hopefully they learn with Wii U.

Its really because everyone else goes with whatever is popular.
And people don't LET Nintendo be popular because they don't give them a chance.

Well, out of the two 3DSWare that I own, I'd reccomend Pushmo over Mighty Switch Force.

Despite possibly getting a tad repetitive, Pushmo is lengthy (especially for 6 bucks), innovative, has nice graphics, and is generally great fun.

Mighty Switch Force follows those same specifications, minus the lengthy part. 16 levels really isn't enough compared to the 40-ish on MFC and MMW. Although the soundtrack is GREAT (which you can download for free from Big Lion Music) I can't say it's totally worth the value. People who take the time first run and go for par later will get less then 4 hours overall. Pushmo lasts around a retail puzzle title, and also features a level editor.

If length is a VERY small factor for you, get MSF (I'd recommend it over Pushmo if it had at least 8-10 more levels)

This is a signature.

Screw you.
