Topic: 2DS - Random crashing/reboots?

I purchased a blue 2DS not even 2 days ago and for the most part it has been great, but I am a little concerned about a few system crashes/reboots. It has happened 3 or 4 times and seems to be completely random. It only happened in menu screens, like when I transition from one app to another, never during a game (I don't yet own any cartridge games, just downloads). I got some generic error message, and then the system reboots itself.
I can't seem to replicate the crashes.

Has anyone else experienced this either on a 2DS or 3DS? Should I be concerned? Do I need to return the device and get a new one? I have purchased downloads on the system, so if I return it for a new one, how do I keep those purchases?

I think may people who bought early 3DS models had the same problems.

You could try contacting nintendo and have them try to fix it. I assume you have a warranty.

my 3DS eshop gives errors once in a while but nothing else gives me trouble on there.
