Legendary video game designer Suda51 is currently hard at work on the Switch exclusive No More Heroes 3, but what are the chances of some of Grasshopper Manufacture's older titles coming across to Nintendo's hybrid system in the future?
During MomoCon's Twitch livestream, a translator - on behalf of Suda - explained how it wasn't really his company's decision to make, in most cases. For example, Killer7 on Switch is "pretty much" up to Capcom, and a Nintendo version of Killer Is Dead would need to be discussed with Kadokawa Games, as "different parts of the rights" are split up.
One game that apparently has the "most realistic" chance of being released on the Switch is the 1999 adventure visual novel, The Silver Case. Here is the message Suda 51's translator passed on:
But yeah, those are all titles that he would like to see come out on the Switch if possible. I guess right now, possibly the most realistic of those would be The Silver Case.
Later on in the stream, Suda spoke about how he'd been talking with a studio about a potential remake of the PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS adventure title, Flower, Sun and Rain.
Would any of these games interest you? Tell us below.

I would not be opposed to this idea. The Silver Case would be the perfect choice for the Switch considering the type of game it is.
Although, Killer7 would be the fan-approved choice.
I've heard Killer 7 was interesting, I wouldn't mind a chance to play it.
Killer7 would be awesome. A No More Heroes 1 & 2 bundle prior to 3's release should be a given, I'll be pretty bummed if it doesn't happen. Don't really care about Killer Is Dead, but Silver Case & Flower, Sun and Rain would be kinda cool, if not things I'm necessarily clamoring for.
It's always the same answer when it comes to ports. He fully owns basically none of his IP so unfortunately most are out of the question.
... so what about Contact?
“ Would any of these games interest you?”
ALL OF THEM.
@Kalmaro its quite the different game, and from what I remember quite fun.
Liberation Maiden: Am I a joke to you?
Killer 7...ask Capcom... Damn the worst company with it comes to port begging. All I want is Killer 7 but getting a NMH collection would be cool.
Killer7 is brilliant but The Silver Case is a fantastic game as well. Flower Sun and Rain is possibly one of the best games on the PS2 as well and I’m so glad I powered through it with an English script , a remake could genuinely go down as one of the greatest games ever made. I can’t stress just how good the wider Silver Case series is.
I loved killer 7 wow 15 years ago. Stylish as hell and a unique control system. From what I remember u hold a button to walk forwards! Still got my copy xx
Give me ALL the Suda51 games! Especially the first two No More Heroes games since I never got to play them!
We neeed a NMH collection on the Switch
Give us No More Heroes 1 & 2, Killer7, Killer is Dead and The Silver Case.
Bring back all of his games, please and thank you.
The man is a true artist and a darling creator; love his work and they definitely deserve to be shared and explored again, now more than ever.
I will buy anything Suda51 makes
killer is dead is fantastic. playing it again right now on 360.
I would definitely be interested if "any" older Grasshopper games came to Switch. @SeantheDon29 mentioned Liberation Maiden, which totally deserves a port or even some kind of sequel, great little game.
@Supaguy
I’d also like contact. I only played it briefly but it was interesting. All his games are. I’d really like to go thru killer 7 again and no more heroes with a traditional controller.
Killer is dead and Shadow of the damned for switch please, I've always wanted to play those two games! And a bundle of nmh 1+2 would be very welcome too.
just give us NMH and NMH2 remastered this summer if you're giving us NMH3 in the fall or holiday times!
I want to see Shadows of the Damned brought back, but that might be up to EA?
My immediate thought to this article: Yeees please dooo. 😻
Dang this is like split custody. I dunno about these Kadokawa people, but if there's one thing Capcom likes, its making easy money by re-releasing older stuff. So there shouldn't be too much issue there hopefully.
Would love to see NMH1+2.
I'd like to try my hand at Lollipop Chainsaw, but that would be unlikely, given that they'd hafta renew music rights, or remove the licensed music.
I would love it if NMH 1 and 2 were remastered for Switch. It would make little sense not to do it with NMH3 on the way, but I know it's not as simple as all that.
I haven't played most of the games mentioned here, but I did have a brief time with Liberation Maiden, which I thought was pretty decent.
My most favorite Suda 51 games is Shadows of the Damned. It would be nice to see that and NMH 1&2 come to Switch. And who could forget Lolipop Chainsaw and that famous trophy you could earn. I wonder if Lolipop Chainsaw would be released in today's environment. That was such a blast to play.
Besides Killer 7, I want Shadows of the Damned for Switch. That game has far too many game breaking bugs, but it's still awesome.
Killer 7 would be perfect.......buuuuut....Capcom reasons
I could never get in Killer 7. I should try again for the 3rd time one day
Killer is dead needs to be on switch !!
Lollipop Chainsaw please
KILLER 7 WAS A GOOD GAME. I THINK
Hmm, make a new game or make a cash grab port?? I wonder which he would like to do
I want so many Suda games on the Switch... I would buy them all. Lollipop Chainsaw, Killer is Dead, Shadows of the Dammed, we missed out on so much back in the day.
Give me Lollipop Chainsaw
Do it and I will buy.
That simple.
My life for the Suda. Punk's not dead.
NHM 1 & 2, put them in me.
