Launching tomorrow on Nintendo Switch is Sir Eatsalot, a slow-paced 2D adventure platformer from German studio, Behind The Stone.
In the game, you take on the role of the titular Sir Eatsalot, heading out on a quest to track down Hysterica, a mean old sorceress who has poisoned your precious Gluttington Kingdom. You'll need to put an end to her shenanigans, and you'll be doing just that by using a range of the Switch console's handy features.
This means you'll be getting a fair bit of use out of the touchscreen and gyro controls, with puzzles requiring tapping and swiping movements and other gameplay sections having you rotating the console to move around. It also means that the game can only be played in handheld mode - you can't touch the screen if it's docked, can you?
Here are some features and screenshots:
Interactive and varied gameplay through full use of different hardware features
Humorous adventure in a silly cartoon world full of sweets and other delectables
Immersive and detailed level design with hand-drawn graphics
Interact with the game world to discover more quirky characters
Collect over 20 stickers to learn more about the world of Sir Eatsalot
As mentioned above, the game is scheduled to launch on Switch tomorrow, 9th January. If you're liking what you see, make sure to tap and rotate some words into our comment box below.
