Heads up, One Piece fans! Bandai Namco has revealed that One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, the upcoming action-adventure game based on the franchise, will be launching on Nintendo Switch on 27th March 2020.
The news comes alongside a brand new trailer (which you can check out above) and confirmation of pre-order bonuses which will be given out to eager buyers. Those who pre-order the game will be rewarded with an early unlock of the Vinsmoke Brothers (Ichiji, Niji and Yonji) and two exclusive costumes to be revealed at a later date.
That's not all, though, as Europe will also receive a Kaido Edition release at select retailers. This will include a copy of the game and "an exclusive diorama portraying the epic clash between Luffy and Kaido".
Four iconic Wano costumes will also be available for free to all players from launch day:
- Luffytaro (Luffy)
- Zorojuro (Zoro)
- Soba Mask (Sanji)
- Onami (Nami)
Not a bad little update, huh? Let us know if you're excited for this one in the comments.

I've never watched One Piece but this looks pretty cool. Waiting for Persona 5 Scramble though.
I'm alllll over this I love one piece and I need this In my life where do I sign up hehe the games normally are pretty fun to
One Piece games are hit or miss but i will still buy it because i love One Piece
PW3 was a good buy and well worth the time so I am confident I will get this at some point, if not at release.
Probably a Day 1 buy. Launches very close to my birthday, too.
Can't wait to play as Katakuri, Reiju and hopefully Kaidou. Plus every other character already in the roster will probably feel quite fresh as well, with the new aerial combos.
"The epic clash between Luffy and Kaido" lol it's not much of a clash now is it?
These games always look like anime masquerading as a game.
One Piece isn't one of my favorite anime (compared to other shonen anime, I find it has an unusually high number of characters with weird, eccentric designs, that are more hit than miss), but I bought Pirate Warriors 3 on a whim recently & it's actually a really solid game, so I'll pronably look into this one day.
