We hope you're feeling up for a good ol' game of cricket this summer, because it appears that a brand new game is on the way to Nintendo Switch.

No official word has been shared, and we don't even have a confirmed title at present, but the signs are pointing towards an 'Ashes Cricket 2019' game launching this summer. This tweet below from the England Cricket account has uploaded a small teaser, seemingly referencing the upcoming Test series set to be played this summer.

Notice the Switch logo right at the very end...

Cricket games appear far less frequently than those tied to the likes of football (soccer, for our American chums), basketball, baseball, and the like, but we have had a few titles appear on Nintendo systems in the past. The Nintendo DS had Freddie Flintoff's Power Play Cricket (who could forget?), and previous Ashes games have also arrived in the form of Ashes Cricket 2009 and Ashes Cricket 2013.

We'll keep an eye out for more news on this one as it arrives, but it looks like we'll be able to get stuck into this one this summer, probably around the time of the real deal which takes place this August.

Are you a cricket fan? Will you be snapping this one up as soon as it launches on Switch? Tell us below.
