Dballfighterz

Bandai Namco has revealed that Dragon Ball FighterZ will be receiving not one, not two, but three free updates on Nintendo Switch. What do you mean, "the article title already gave that away"?

The first of these three updates comes in the form of a 'FighterZ Tournament' - a brand new online tournament mode featuring several new match rules. Ths tournament will culminate in a final eight-player bracket, with the winners and runners-up of each tournament receiving special rewards and Z Trophies which can be displayed in their Z Trophy Room.

This mysterious Z Trophy Room is the second of the three features, with rooms being unique to each player. Players will gain Z Trophies that can be showcased in their Z Trophy Rooms, as well as with their Lobby Avatars and more, and players can then visit the Z Trophy Rooms of others or invite their friends to show off their own collections. Nice. Both of these new features go live today.

The third update is set to arrive on 5th December and will feature a variety of new festive-themed avatars and colour variations. Characters including Vegeta, Trunks, Tien and Android 18 will have Santa Claus themed avatars, with Krillin and Buu dressed as a reindeer and snowman respectively. A new Christmas colour set, featuring red, green, and gold, will also be available for all characters.
