Just last week, we reported on the news that a handful of European Nintendo online stores were being rebranded, all coming together under the 'My Nintendo' name. Some rather large changes have occurred as a result of this change, with one such addition being the introduction of store vouchers.
There are three different vouchers to choose from, with €1, €3, and €5 options costing 100, 300, and 500 Gold Points respectively. These new, fancy vouchers can be used on any orders with a minimum total spend of €20 (not including shipping costs), and only one voucher can be used per order. You can take a look at the product pages for yourself below.
It's worth noting that these offers are only available in countries which have seen the recent rebranding implemented: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, and Spain. Users in other European countries, such as the UK which has its own independent store, cannot access these vouchers.
The stores also have a huge selection of physical items for sale, as seen in this image below. There are bags, hats, dresses, wallets, and much more available.
If you live in one of the regions mentioned above, are you happy with these recent changes to your Nintendo online stores? Let us know your thoughts down below.

A step in the right direction?
Too bad there was no Club Nintendo where I lived back then
Haha pathetic- tiny vouchers and minimum spend plus only one per spend. Honestly they shouldn’t have bothered.
You can’t even save them up for something.
This is pretty cool! Too bad I live in the US lol.
Seems lame, I would rather just use it to get games than having some minor discount for some crap I don't need.
I still miss Club Nintendo, it had some stuff that was actually pretty cool and useful.
We really need this in the US as well
Meanwhile in the Us
It's worth noting another discount program happened not so long ago: https://www.nintendolife.com/news/2012/10/wii_u_digital_promotion_giving_you_more_bang_for_your_buck
My Nintendo offers just awful, I miss old days & a great physical stuff.
Shame that you can't use Platinum points too. They seem useless?
I have been using mine for money off digital games quite happily and will keep doing so. What frustrates me is I keep getting surveys to fill in that earn platinum ones but from what I can see there’s nothing I can spend them on? Anybody know what I can use them for?
Current Platinum Points will be moved over to the new Achievement system that'll launch on september. ( Yeh, right )
Underwhelm.
"We want physical stuff back"
"Here you go, plus discounts"
"Not good enough"
Nintendo fans.
Once again UK and US left out, come on Nintendo! Sort it out!
@Knuckles-Fajita
Yeah, but they didn't release these in many countries. 8 out of 50 countries in Europe. I live in Sweden, I don't think any Scandinavian country got these. And in Sweden we only have a Nintendo site that basically says "Here is a list of games, if you wanna buy digital games from your phone/PC then use UK's site and if your console breaks then get it fixed at the store you bought it from". You can get old consoles fixed from this site, but the easiest way is to either fix it yourself or go to mediamarkt or wherever you bought it and ask them to fix it.
So, to summarize:
Unless you live in the countries listed above you don't get those rewards, which sucks.
The only one that seems at all useful is the 5 euro voucher. Still a neat idea.
Meanwhile in Australia, the Octo Expansion wallpaper was just released for 50 platinum points (and a few Game Boy and Wii U discounts).
Lame. I'll continue to spend my gold coins to get free games every now and then instead.
