@Vaynard

From what you say Tales of Monkey Island sounds to be the right game for you. It's full of fun problem solving and great puzzles.
It's just expensive..... Have you played some of the series before?

If you like puzzle/strategy games, some games in the Art Style series could be your thing (maybe try Cubello, or Orbient?).
Since you have two great racing games (Excitebike and Driift Mania), I can also recommend trying Art Style light trax.
You can't do wrong with the Art Style anyway so check out Rotohex and Rotozoa too.
As for more puzzle games I like to recommend Art of Balance.

Bonsai Barber is quite a unique game. It's hard to recommend because who has ever played a barber game? But anyway it's awesome.
TV Show King 2 gets a general recommendation too, if you like multiplayer and online and competitive education.

About what you're not interested in:
LostWinds: Winter of the Melodias is much better than the first game.
And World of Goo is a must, for the soundtrack alone.

The best game on wiiware is Robox I've played it for 40 hours now, easily the biggest wiiware game... Pure gold. It's simply the best, better than all the rest.

Excellent thread.
The suggestions are aiming to good games.

Would also be fine to support very small developpers that took some risks to propose different games.
It point there to my "Fishie Fishie", but there are surely more.
(The threshold rules is quite cruel for small games and developpers).
So if you might like to have more games, lot of choices, check to support small developpers. Thanks for reading.

the ones ive played
■6 / 10 -- Art Style -- ORBIENT
It is beautiful and moody, but gets boring fast because you dont have much control on movements
■9 / 10 -- Art Style -- light trax
Very original, you'll want to show it to your friends. Amazing music and strategic gameplay.
■9.5 / 10 -- Art Style -- PENTA TENTACLES / ROTOZOA
Challanging, gorgeous, amazing music... the one ive spent more time

Devil's crush for sure. Alien Crush returns is alright, but quite honestly it's a little bland seed. The bonuses get pretty repetitive. Level 2 is the most boring of all. Level 3 had probably the most interactive objects and was the most creative. The boss fights were kind of cool, but honestly this game needed a little more in my opinion. Still about a 6 or 7 to me, but Devil's Crush is by far the better game.
