Topic: Twilight Princess help

I'm at the Goron Mines and need to get the Hylian Shield, but nothing's open in Kakariko Village because it's night time. How do I get the shield?

Time doesn't pass while you're in Kakariko (or other villages, iirc). Exit the village and wait for daytime, like zez said. if you're unable to exit to hyrule field, i believe you can run around in the death mountain area.

I actually think time does progress in villages. It's Just much slower. It's sorta strange that Twilight princess doesn't have a song of time like OOT did. It sure would be more handy when searching for poes and bugs.

@Link79: You mean Majora's Mask, right? I don't think the song of time does anything to the flow of time in OoT.

Time does pass in most villages, but in Kakariko for example the Night shop wont open until you enter/exit an area. Malo Mart is different though cause its indoors, and will just let you in or not.

Oh right my bad I meant the sun's song. You can make it day or night any time you want in Ocarina as long as you have learned the song. In Majora I don't think there is a sun's song. It's been a while since I played.

I was just playing Twilight princess yesterday and in Hyrule Castle town it went from night to day while I was in the town.

Ok, I spent some time in the field and it dawned. I went and bought the Hylian Shield. Now if only I could find my way back to the mines. I'm at the spa.

smaller places, though, i thought time stood still? if not, my bad, but either way, Kakariko is weird due to the shops that open/close depending on the time of day. :3
