I popped in this game over the weekend to try it out. All I was expecting was Dynasty Warriors with a slightly different setting. I was pleasantly suprised to see that nearly every aspect of this game was better than the Dynasty games. Sure, the core gameplay is largely similar, but there was enough added to it to make the game feel fresh again, from the movesets, special abilities, weapons/armour upgrades, to even the menus. And the game does look great on the Wii.
If the 3DS version is anything like this game, I'll be pretty happy.
