Topic: Nintendo missed a chance to shift a few extra units here (Zelda)

It is not a big deal but it would be nice for the collectors out there and am sure it would of sold well. Am not a fan of Zelda games. But I know that Zelda has a massive following. Also Nintendo have a theme going on with the Zelda series.

Legend of Zelda (Gold Cartridge)
Adventure of Link (Gold Cartridge)
Both Zelda games on N64 (Gold Cartridge) as well as a gold n64 console
Zelda Gold Limited Edition Gameboy Advance SP
Zelda Wind Waker Gamecube (Gold Box)
Zelda Gold Limited Edition 3ds
Zelda Gold Wii controller and gold box for Skyward Sword

Now they announced the new Limited Edition premium Wind Waker pack with a black console and black gamepad. Anyone else feel they missed a few extra sales here? Wouldn't it off been nice if the console and or the gamepad was gold?

The 3DS was black with the same exact golden marks from the Wind Waker gamepad.

I think the adventure of link was silver, not gold.

Consoles are apart of the living room these days, not the bedroom. Nobody wants a tacky gold lump of plastic next to their DVD player.
