Motion plus is required for two attractions in Nintendoland; Zelda Battle Quest and Metroid Blast.
Bear in mind these minigames only require Motion plus when using more than one player. No other minigames require it.

I played Nintendo Land AND NSMBU with all four of my remotes, 2 motion +, 2 original, and they all work just fine! :)

Did you play Zelda Quest and Metroid Blast during that time? Because you couldn't have done 5 players with those two, since they need motion +

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I haven't played all of the games, but none of the ones we did required motion plus.

We played Zelda in 2 player and did not need motion plus.

Do you have Wii Remote Plus controllers?

Some of the Zelda games do not need Motion Plus, all of the Metroid ones do.
