Topic: Mega Man X2

Was released today in America. Who has this or will be getting this?

I have it but since I never owned it originally, I don't feel much nostalgia towards it. I still feel like Mega Man X is a more fun game to play (probably since I know all the secrets and what order to take the stages in - I don't with Mega Man X2).

I'm not getting **** until Wario Land comes out.

I am not getting it. I bought the cartridge from my Goodwill a few months ago for 3 bucks I think it was. I was tired of waiting for it to be released on the VC and at that price I would have been a fool not to get it. Overall its an ok game to me but I have always liked the original MM series over the X series.

It's a good game, definitely. It just pales in comparison to Megaman X. But that's understandable, since Megaman X is easily one of the best games ever. The music definitely isn't as good as X. Either way it's still more fun from the X series and that's swell.

I have the game on the Mega Man X Collection for Gamecube so I won't be downloading it. It's fun but yeah, not as good as the first game but hey, it's Mega Man so it's always fun anyways.

Wii VC games have nothing to do with 3DS releases.

Probably not. Got Rockman X2 and Rockman X3 carts (because they're a little and a lot cheaper than the MM versions) as well as the X Collection.

I actually am looking forward to the X3 VC release since the Mega Man X Collection has the PS1 version and not the SNES one. I thought it was a pretty good game, and the end boss was one of the hardest bosses I've ever played in all my years of gaming.

X9 hasn't been made... yet. I think you meant X7 and X8.

How does X8 look bad? The graphics are way better than X7. X7 was garbage. X8 is a huge improvement though. It's still 2D X goodness just with, at the time, up to date graphics. There are some bad parts of the game sure, but over all it's good. I'd say you should give it a chance. At least check out the music. It really rocks!

@Waveboy I think X5 was actually pretty good, better than X2,3, and 6 at least.
