For Wii U, sure. I doubt it for 3DS though.

Because it would be stupid on 3DS. The 3DS couldn't even run the GC right due to the lack of buttons.

And that the 3DS is not powerful enough to emulate Gamecube hardware. You need a system 2-3x more powerful then the original system's hardware in order to properly emulate it. From what I've heard, the 3DS is a slightly underpowered Wii. So we won't see a Nintendo handheld being able to play Gamecube games anytime soon.

If it was on a cart and if it was a remake that's another story, but a VC port could not work. That's for the wii U. Same with N64 too

CPP says hi, and I think it's possible to put N64 and GCN on 3DS you just need an extra pice, kinda like how you NEEDED a GCN controller or CC for SNES and N64 Wii VC

I somewhat want to think that Nintendo wouldn't be that much of a jerk and have us buy all our gamecube games again, knowing them they'd probably want 20 bucks each. I'd think it more likely to just go the HD collection path, 1 main game and a couple smaller games to a disk. But that's just me, always hoping for the unlikely.

Has Nintendo ever charged more than $10 for a re-release (not remake) of an old game? If VC prices don't change, I would still expect no more than $15.

the new play controls game were at least 20 when they came out. As far as digitally goes, no, but that's only because they haven't gone bast N64, and there was sin and punishment for 12, but that was an import so take that as you will.
