The official SNES Cleaning Kit by Nintendo?
It did not have a steel bit. The entire point of the security screws was that Nintendo DIDN'T WANT people opening the carts.
All it was was a plastic SNES cart-shaped case with a textured cardboard piece in place of the cartridge board, for inserting into the console to clean the pin connector in the console, and I recall one spare stored inside the case.
As well as two double ended rectangular sticks for wiping carts (two ended, one to wipe and one to dry).
I'm sure it didn't have any cleaning fluid because Nintendo recommended people using water (such as tap water) most likely because they were afraid of kids doing dumb things with any other kind of liquid.
This product was available and first seen online by myself in 2011 approx.
I appreciate Nintendo not wanting people to open the cartridges, however this steel bit was included so you can have complete access to the contacts inside the cartridges, clean them, and replace the boards afterwards.
This was useful, because I had a Mario Kart cartridge which had that much residue on the contacts that built up over the years, the game became unreadable by the machine until I cleaned it with the solution.
