Topic: Zero, the creator of all fiction

We have all often wondered how fictional realities came to be. Are they each separate dimensions or do they share the same earth? Well my friends, the answer lies in Fortnite. For you see, in Fortnite there exists a God like being called the zero point. And all throughout the game's long history, the zero point has been used to open portals to different franchises, such as God of war, Halo, Mgs etc. Plus, we also see characters from their realities stepping into the fortnite reality through said portals. Has there ever been a game with so many crossovers? I think not. And besides all that, the story of the zero point states that: In the begging there was nothing. Then, the big bang birthed the zero point into existence. The zero point then created countless realities as soon as it was born. And it has maintained these realities ever since. Yes, each franchise in fiction has its own seperate reality, although some share the same reality, such as uncharted and the last of us.Join me as I post daily more proof of zero being the creator of all fiction.

This is a particularly lazy, annoying concept. It's incredibly self-aggrandising for any creator to come up with a fictional character and then claim that they are responsible for all other fiction, or that all other fictional universes are merely a subset of their own.

It's also been done time and time again and it's no less annoying when it crops up each time. Here's a simple piece which demonstrates how idiotic and annoying the concept is:

Zero Point was actually created by Fnargalargan. Fnargalargan created everything, including the Big Bang and the entire multiverse. Fnargalargan got bored so created Zero Point as a puppet for no purpose other than personal amusement, and made Zero Point believe that it was really the creator of all fictional universes. But Zero Point isn't. It's just a puppet.

See? It's easy to do, and it's stupid. As someone who does the odd bit of creative writing and world-building, having some chancer wander along and claim that everything you've written is merely a subset of their own world makes me want to dickpunch them across the multiverse.

It's even worse when they lay claim to fictional worlds written by people with far more skill and talent, which is inevitably the case, as only a hack is interested in co-opting better stuff than they can come up with themselves.

@DannyBoi This isn't meant as an attack on you, just the idiot(s) working on Fortnight who trotted out this nonsense. But it's best not to perpetuate this sort of trash.

@Woderwick I understand the point you are making. Of course very creative minds made all these franchises and they deserve full credit. With that being said though, I do believe Fortnite offers the most in depth explanation of how the fictional multiverse came to be. I will try to keep things clean as I keep posting.

@DannyBoi

I disagree strongly that it's at all "in-depth", it pretty much boils down to "thing happened and now this thing does everything." The one advantage Fortnite has is that it's been able to license a lot of other fictional characters. But that comes down to waving money at the IP owner and is about as far removed from creativity as you can get.

However, the one unassailable beauty of creativity is that anyone can do anything, for better or worse.
Anyway, I've said my piece so I'll duck out of this thread and leave you to enjoy what you enjoy.

Originally everything was peaceful on the fortnite island, which is where the zero point is located for its safety(also known as reality zero as it was the first created reality). That is until a king called Geno from a medieval kingdom somehow finds out about the exsistance of the zero point(I'll call it zero from now on) and experiments with it. Geno eventually realises its purpose and is able to harness its powers. From that day onward, Geno vows to conquer every reality, and establishes an order known as the oathbound dedicated to that purpose. Geno uses zero to make himself immortal, along with members of the oathbound in order to ensure his success.

@Woderwick yes, creativity is a beautiful thing.

Eventually, the Oathbound changes its name to the imagined order(io) in order to hide its existence. The imagined order is run by Dr slone(who Geno left in charge presumably while he was exploring other realities) and her right hand man agent Jonesy. At that time, the io have turned reality zero into a battle royale simulator by trapping the island in a time loop and generating a storm that covers the island in exactly 22 minutes, killing everyone bar the lone survivor. After that, everything resets and another battle royale begins. Something to note however, is the battle is just a simulation, no one actually dies. The io is taking people from many realities to reality zero to train them in battle royale in preparation for the conquering of every reality. When the time comes to conquer, their army will consist of everyone who won a victory royale, thus the ultimate army. The io are working in complete secrecy and thus no opposition. The perfect plan.

All was going well until the day a comet like object was spotted in the sky by io, getting closer every day. The day finally came when it crash landed on the island. The comet that had landed opened, revealing it was not a comet but a capsule. With a lone figure stepping out of it, the visitor. The io no doubt were concerned with this development, as no one else should have access to reality zero, bar io.

The visitor begins constructing a rocket and the rocket is eventually launched. The rocket ascends toward the sky, and as it touches the sky it opens a rift which it travels through and promptly vanishes, with the visitor onboard it. However, io are horrified with that they see after this, as a being comes through the same rift. io are no longer the only ones with access to reality zero.

This being who came through the rift was a cube, purple in colour and sentient. Its name is Kevin the cube. io are puzzled, because all it does is slowly move around the island and cause minor destruction. Eventually Kevin sinks into loot Lake, turning the lake purple and transforming the water into a gelatinous substance. Also Kevin dissolved as a result. io were more perplexed than worried at this point.

And io faced many such threats until eventually all but two members were annihilated. Slone and Jonesy survived and io was disbanded. Ultimately io gave up on trying to conquer all realities and just wanted a peaceful existence. Geno however, would not be pleased and is currently looking for a way to rebuild his army.

I've skipped most of the story as there is simply too much. All in all the zero point is currently hidden and safe, but beings still look for it. Thus fictional reality is safe. Now then my friends, First piece of proof that shows that zero made all fiction. If you remember the star wars crossover, then you'll remember this. https://www.thegamer.com/fortnite-star-wars-canon/ we are starting off small and getting more and more convincing as time goes on.

Don Quixote is the first modern novel and is
Believed to have come out in 1605. Literary scholars argue that every story since has has just been some version of that story. The protagonist Don Quixote is a man with illusions of grandeur who fancies himself a hero. He finds love, makes friends, goes on adventures - kinda.

It was written by a man named Cervantes who died in a gutter. I think Zero copied off that guy

@ScalenePowers it wouldn't surprise me if all these people knew about zero creating these realities and just kept quiet about it until fortnite revealed the existence of zero.

While its hard to prove if all stories in fortnite are Canon, the fact that titans like dc and marvel confirmed theirs are, its safe to say that all stories in fortnite are Canon. Not every Ip owner has confirmed their stories in fortnite are, but they probably will be.

Whoah what rabbit hole did I fall this time

This is actually a good question though - why did people begin to make fiction, to make up stories? First of all, the enjoyment. Imagining is fun. Secondly, to somehow explain things they could not explain by their logic. People drowning in the rivers? Must be a Kappa. Thunder? A god playing drums. Old woman living by herself in the woods? She's different so she must be a monster. Etc etc.

Why are there complicated lores? Because it's expanding our horizons, it makes us wonder. It presents opportunities, and showing us what we like. IT also increases our cognitive abilities and critical thinking skills.

And fortnite lore is just like any other lore. It tries to connect itself to other lores, due to crossovers. And this zero is kinda like Haruhi Suzumiya, Usagi Tsukino or Master Hand.

@Princess_Lilly Zero is probably the one true creator of fiction. I admire your post, full of good and valid points.
