Again, not a Microsoft guy but I am interested in Natal's technology. Here is the list from IGN about the developers who will be working on software for it:
Activision Blizzard - Warcraft in your home?
Bethesda Softworks - Fallout! or Oblivion.....
CAPCOM - Uhh.... Natal-infused Resident Evil?
Disney Interactive - Oh god, more Disney rubbish....
Electronic Arts - Need For Speed and other monster franchises, I guess.
Konami - Castlevania whipping anyone?
MTV Games - A new meaning to air guitar?
Namco Bandai - DBZ's rebirth? Or Ridge Racer..... or some other Namco game...
Sega - The fastest thing alive, now using your speed?
Square Enix - Final Fantasy: Natal-style!
THQ Inc. - Either Natal-inspired WWE grappling or more Nickelodeon games that get the concept wrong.
Ubisoft - Uhh.. Natal-inspired Prince of Persia revival or.... the return of Rayman platforming!
While it's intriguing, there's no way I can have any thoughts on this until I've experienced it for myself. There are far too many unknowns to consider with this one.
I personally don't think it is going to go much farther than the guitars, etc. of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. It is neat, I'm not going to lie, but a lot of it depends on the execution. So much could go wrong... Anyway, nothing but speculation It won't make me want one more and unless there is something spectacular I can't justify paying for it.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

"There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know."
I'd rather have a peripheral that used more senses rather than less. Then again that could be taken too far...I can only imagine what kind of nightmares and emotional scarring that could result from playing a horror game where you can smell the zombies' rotting flesh.
