I'm hatching eggs, and I noticed when soft resetting, you have to give back the first egg no matter what. I started my file with the Day Care Man's back turned to me and the eggs came out with the same three IV's perfect a few times in a row. So to be safe always give back the first egg, then accept the next five. Then hatch, reset, repeat.

Yea saw an article about that. When you put the pokemon in there the IVs(well which parent to take from), nature, gender, ability for the next egg get set. You can even swap out once you see which parents give what ivs and use the soft reset to capitalize on it. That's the page I read if you are interested, first page or two gives the procedure, I stopped reading after that so maybe the next 33 pages give more specifics lol.

@pyrotechnic It only has max Special Attack, of course two of the other eggs that hatched in that batch had four perfect IV's. At least it has max in the most important stat. It was guaranteed to have Modest nature with the Everstone too.

That's something I guess. You have any tricks for getting a better shiny chance or something? I seem to have crap luck when it comes to RNG. For example, I was breeding eevees before... got a female 3/96 eggs (nowhere near the 1/8th chance lol)

@pyrotechnic I was actually using a male Fennekin being it had four max IV's (HP, Defense, Special Attack, and Speed), and the best female that popped out only ever had three, so I never swapped it out for the female. I also used a Japanese Ditto with max Special Attack and Speed to at least increase my chance of getting max Special Attack with every egg. I would just always deny the first egg from the day care man, then accept the next five. If after they hatched none of them were shiny, I would soft reset, and repeat the same process. If I had to estimate, I must have hatched the shiny in about 100 eggs.
