You can't battle online. The game only has local multiplayer.

Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

There is only one GTA for the DS and that's Chinatown Wars which only has local multiplayer.

Probably getting a Vita with LBP soon...

Because you can upload your statistics to the Rockstar Social Club and people can find you by your code.
