So a new patch for the Switch has recently came out. But what did it do?? Well, remember the problem some people experienced with the battery draining rapidly? Well, there's some good news. Apperantly, it was just a glitch in the UI displaying the actual battery life incorrectly, which explains why you can still use the Switch even if it displays 1%. So you'll need to update and also follow some instructions so you can calibrate the battery percentage.

Good to know they've fixed it.I was worried I had the same issue after I had let the battery completely run out one time..For a couple of days after that it didn't seem to be displaying the correct percentage.I had a look online and seen many others were having a similar issue.Mines seems to have resolved itself after a couple of days.

I wasn't having the issue, but I'm wondering if I should put my switch thru this process just to be on the safe side...

Sooo... the number of depletion was so deceiving before update ?
Maybe it displayed 100% but actually 90% or displayed 1% but actually 11%...

My Top 5 games :
1. Dance Dance Revolution series (99 / 100)
2. Dragon Quest Builders 2 PS4 (95 / 100)
3. The Sims 4 PS4 with all expansion packs and DLC (93 / 100)
4. Portal Knights PS4 (90 / 100)
5. Final Fantasy VIII PS1 (90 / 100)

My Switch would literally tell me after 10 minutes of use that the battery was low. This update has already improved on that massively (having tested it today). However, it's not yet perfect. It's about an hour and a half before the warnings kick in. Nearly there!

Those steps seem like a pain in the ass for consumers to go through to try and fix Nintendos screw up.

I definitely wouldn't do them unless I had issues.

Yeah those steps seem like a huge cluster... It even says repeat process if it doesn't work..... lotsa confidence They have in their own solutions.
Said it once said it twice said it thrice.... Switch was obv rushed to market
