I have a big 42" TV i use for my PS4 and switch, might try using my old 24" PC Monitor for my switch to see if it looks better for gaming, but the TV is native 1080p so as long as i sit back its good.

One thing i just noticed tho is Full Range RGB setting on switch, when i set it to full on my 1440p high end pc monitor my god the colours look much better. dont think my TV has this as i read most don't but most pc monitors do.

@Gisborne your 24" is 1440p? Or you have 2 monitors?
I will definitely be sure to switch the color setting now that you said that.. UGH 2h49m left at work then I'm heading straight to target lol.. I'm so anxious.

Well I just wanted to give my impressions on hooking a switch up to my monitor after getting it a couple days ago. They had a demo setup at Target which is actually the first time I had seen one in person, so I jumped on it to see how it looked on their 1080p screen so I had some kind of reference when I hooked it up at home.
I played the Mario demo at Target and the sharpness was like, intense. It looked alright though, bright and vivid.
When I setup the Switch at home the first thing I did was change it to full range RGB as suggested and download the Octopath Traveler demo (this and XBC2 are the 2 games i wanted the Switch for asap). The game looks gorgeous. The switch scales excellently on my 27" 1440p screen. It looks miles better than the overly sharp Target TV which was native 1080p. I can't wait for this game to come out, it will be a masterpiece.
I downloaded some other demos just to see how they look and all I can say is if you have a really nice PC monitor, the switch is a great extension for your computer.
