Topic: Realistic Pokémon game

Open world, big environments to explore and interact with. So much potential in Pokémon. Stop making Pokémon a sandbox. I wanna see forests and islands.

Most you people are not real Pokémon fans. Please stop shutting down fan made games Nintendo if your not going to make an authentic game. We need open world to explore and interact with environment is key.

I'm confused. Are you really saying that only fan-made games are authentic Pokemon games, and not official games created by GameFreak? And that anyone who likes the current games on the Nintendo consoles aren't actually Pokemon fans?

Once in a while a legendarily bad thread is created. This is one of those threads.

While I agree that an open world Pokemon game where Pokemon of different sizes, life styles, personalities and levels roam around, trainers not just standing in or walking on one spot but having a daily routine they follow and give sidequests more often, and so on ... (or more simple, Pokémon meets BotW) the way you're talking here @Forest , I really don't get what you're saying regarding things like 'being a Pokémon fan' or 'sandbox Pokemon game' (isn't open world and sandbox basically the same thing?). Not trying to offend, of course.

Though, despite all crying and whining, an open world Pokemon game will never happen. TPC and GameFreak are just too stubborn and stuck up to change what mainline titles look and play like, unfortunately.

Fine, you kids can have your version of Pokemon Volleyball, while I'll be over here playing the game as Dawn, Misty, May, or that girl with the cow that no one cares about.

Pokemon MMORPG a la World of Warcraft...it would be hit or miss.
