Well that is good news Pedropierrepete!! This thing really needs some spit and shine to bring the look back up to FX3 quality, but TNG would be great to have......
Yesterday a patch (1.0.1) for the nintendo switch version was released. I think the tables look a bit sharper now.(i played Fish Tales, Wild West Rampage, Sorcerer’s Lair, A Samurai's Vengeance and Verne’s Mysterious Island) However, the tables do not reach the quality of the FX3 version...But at least a step in the right direction Has anyone else tried this version already?
I am struggling to see any improvement in addressing the very blurry graphics. It looks the same to me (undocked) and the muddy playfield and ball actually make it hard to keep track of play. The ball on some tables doesn't stand out and gets lost amidst the action. Never had a problem with this on FX3 as everything was sharp.
Still a massive disappointment. I was ready to buy the new tables but this release just isn't good enough. I have many of the tables on Xbox Series X already but can't justify spending money on this version in its current state.
Mega Patch incoming for Oct 12!
"Nintendo Switch graphical update will arrive this with patch, all tables should look as intended"
(also a Williams Vol 7 with Bride of Pinbot, Whilrlwind, and Swords of Fury that same day, but Switch wasn't mentioned alongside the other platforms :/)

What a bummer.
Is there a small lag with the controller? Also load times are terrible. I like the tables in general tho…
@rockodoodle Definitely more lag than FX3, that's for sure. I haven't spent much time with it because it is such a poor port. I have most of the tables released so far on Xbox so have been playing there.
Switch version for me is all about vertical table top play with the Hori stand. Hopefully the patch fixes things, but I am not thrilled at spending loads more to double dip on tables again.
Tried a couple of the free tables undocked after the patch. It does look better, not as sharp as FX3 but not as blurry as before.
It isn't native resolution so there are still jaggies, but thankfully that smear and blur has been reduced. Haven't noticed any frame rate issues yet, however, players on another forum have experienced lag, stuttering and frame drops on some tables.
The Marvel tables went on sale for a tempting price (11 tables for like $8) and it’s not like I had them on FX3 so I bought. I played a little of Thor, the FF, and Captain America this afternoon and so far it seems like a worthy purchase!

How are the Marvel Tables physics wise compared to FX2,3. I prefer those more arcady physics from the older titles. The Marvel tables don't play too well on FX on Xbox for my preference, but I'm hoping it plays more like FX3 on Switch since the physics are a little different than the other consoles.

Really, my experience with Zen/FX tables is mostly their Bally/Williams packs on FX3, on Switch. Those I thought played fairly well, with believable physics that didn’t detract from the flow of the game.
I’d say these tables in the Marvel Collection 1 on FX on Switch perform noticeably less well. In my 2 or so hrs playing yesterday (in yoko/landscape on my flatscreen) I didn’t feel any input lag, but there were occasional hitches/stutters that occurred near the flippers bad enough to throw off my timing and cause a drain. Those tended to happen when the action was heating up. I felt some unnatural bounces were occurring down near the slingshots, too. The ball had a vague “floatiness” to it at times, too.
Overall, it was still enjoyable to play these Marvel tables for the first time, especially at the price. I don’t regret the purchase at all. But if you’ve played them elsewhere on a more stable platform, I imagine you might get annoyed with these Switch ports.
BTW, I only tried Thor, FF, and Capt. America yesterday. They’re arcade-styled tables, but if you ask me, just too obtuse and plodding compared to most of the pins I loved in arcades in the 80-00s. Take FF for example: you can activate the Thing’s Clobberin’ Time multiball, but to do so, you have to drop 2-3 drop targets to reveal and then hit his sinkhole. And you have to repeat that 5 TIMES to spell THING and start the multiball. Compare that to Frankie multiball in Williams’ Monster Bash: 5 hits and 1 ramp shot. THAT’s how you get people flipping’!
Similar for the Torch’s Nova Flame mission. When you start the mode, you have to keep hitting the orbit/spinner to heat him to a million degrees, but it keeps counting down. I failed that one every time on like 15 tries yesterday. I just have to get gudder, I suppose. 😅
Of course, ymmv. My vision and reflexes have faded a lot over the years. I was having trouble seeing the table details in a fixed view. I’ll flip my TV to taté mode and try again in the near future.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I was wondering. I figured it'd be different, but was hoping maybe it still had a good flow to it. Might give it a try in the future, but for now ill stick to the Pinball FX2 versions.
I think the earlier month-or-so-ago 1.0.3 update just turned off all anti-aliasing for regular play views as a quick fix to get things to play normally...everything is so jagged-edged! Hopefully that .9 patch still makes it out one day.
The Zen Studios guys just posted a new Pinball Bites presentation that was stuffed with upcoming games on FX, some of which look very cool!

I’m most excited for the following tables: Charlie Brown Christmas Pinball
J. Carpenter’s THE THING Pinball
STAR TREK Triple Pack: ST Kelvin Timeline, ST: Discovery, and ST: DS9
These are planned to release December 7th on most platforms, and later in December on Switch. Excited for these, even though I wish more Bally/Williams simulations were announced.
They also announced some new play options and physics updates.
I’ve been playing FX a decent amount lately, so I’m glad to see Zen pouring a lot of support into it.
From my understanding is they're going to be using the Pinball FX3 physics now in the switch version of Pinball FX. I like those physics much more, so I'm happy about that. May get those Marvel tables now.
